Impressions of Bahia’s Afro-Brazilian Candomble
The Heritage of the Americas Museum is proud to present an exhibition of paintings, folk art and artifacts illuminating the beauty and power of the Afro-Brazilian Heritage. Bahia, Brazil is home to Candomble, a prominent syncretic religion of National popularity and influence.
Come see and experience this exhibit opening March 16, 2019 with a special lecture at 1:00 p.m. followed by live music and activities. Refreshments will be served. The exhibition will continue through April 27, 2019. Mona Mills, Legend Artist, Marilouders Pereira (Lu), Folk Artist, and Rita Macedo, Baiana Visionary, will greet you and enthusiastically describe and discuss the exhibit.
